This is the kind of art they put up at the places I go out on auditions to.
I’m on this week’s “The Biggest Mistake.” It’s a podcast my friend’s Dan, Paul and Jen recorded for 12 hours straight. Each hour they had a different comedian and each week, they release one of the hours. I’m Hour 5. Here’s the blurb:
“Hour 5: Ron Babcock threatens to punch Paul in the mouth, and other things we’ve always wanted to do.”
You can listen to it at their website - thebiggestmistake.net OR you can subscribe to in iTunes. Just search for “The Biggest Mistake podcast.” It’s the first thing that comes up.
This is a new monster ship by Royal Caribbean, the Oasis of the Seas. It’s five times the size of the Titanic and holds 6,300 passengers. It also has seven different “neighborhoods.” It’s basically a giant floating resort that makes the ships I’ve been on look like life boats.
THE GRILLED CHEESE TRUCK VERDICT
I need a redo. I ordered my sandwich and they placed it in a special sandwich bag the color of silver. It was one of those heat-insulated kinds. I decided to eat the sandwich at home because I didn’t want to eat it on the street like an animal. On the way home, I stopped off at the bank because I’m very very rich and frequently need to make stops there to unload the massive amounts of money I always have on me. But when I got home the sandwich was cold. That special bag didn’t do crap. So to be honest, the sandwich was largely forgettable. But I feel like if I ate it as soon as I got it, it would have been better. I need further analysis before I deliver a final verdict.
SONGS I LISTEN TO OVER AND OVER #51
“…and Carrot Rope” by Pavement. This song does the trick when you have a case of the frowns.
Classic Parking, parking like in the good ol’ days. Before all those new high tech parking lots came along with their new fangled painted lines and general structure. You can have it, I’ll take my good old fashioned Classic Parking and their classic price tag of ten dollars.
